President Donald Trump and Swedish activist Greta Thunberg come from very different perspectives. While Greta is best known as a climate change activist, Trump is mainly sceptical about climate change policies and critical of environmental regulations.
The public has witnessed their tension play out publicly, mostly on social media, with both sides exchanging cutting remarks and criticisms.
Speaking to People in 2019, Greta has openly expressed that discussing climate change with Donald Trump would be a waste of time, saying she doesn’t believe he listens to scientists or would take action.
When Time Magazine named Greta Person of the Year, Trump expressed his criticism over the choice, writing, “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” At the time, he was also on the shortlist to receive the honor.
Recently, Greta and a group of over hundred activists were detained and later deported from Israel after they participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza, a convoy of boats attempting to sail to Gaza to “break the blockade.”
Greta arrived in Athens on Tuesday where she addressed a cheering crowd waiting at the airport.

Donald Trump wasted no time reacting to Greta Thunberg’s latest journey, calling her a “troublemaker” and claiming that it’s a surprise that she’s “so angry” for being that young.
He once again suggested she has “anger management issues,” and should see a doctor.
“She is just a troublemaker… she’s no longer into the environment now. She’s a troublemaker. She has an anger management problem. I think she should see a doctor…Have you ever watched her? She’s a young person, she’s so angry, she’s so crazy… She’s just a troublemaker”, Trump said.

It didn’t come as a surprise that Great didn’t stay silent given their back-and-forth insults and critiques over the years.
”I heard Donald Trump once again has expressed his very flattering opinions on my character, and I appreciate his concerns for my mental health,” Greta Thunberg wrote on Instagram.
”To Trump. I would kindly receive any recommendations you might have to deal with these so called ‘anger management problems’ since – judging by your impressive track record – you seem to be suffering from them too.”
