Cher has adopted a variety of styles and appearances throughout her six-decade-long career and stunned her fans over and over again. But one thing she would never change is the color of her hair.
Being 76 doesn’t prevent this diva from looking as stunning as ever. The truth is that Cher defies age and looks way younger, and according to her, that’s because she also feels young.
Recently, she revealed that the rumors of her alleged relationship with music producer Alexander Edwards, who is 40 years her junior, are actually true.
Last year, she and raper Saweetie starred in M.A.C. Cosmetics campaign and during a promotional video for the cosmetic brand she said that there is one look she’s staying away from; grey hair.
“[Going gray] is fine for other girls,” she told People. “I’m just not doing it!”
Not only she rocked different looks over the years, but she has also used wigs in order to alter her appearance. “There’s nothing wrong with my hair, but I love wigs, and always have,” she said and added, “They are so low maintenance. It just makes it easier to change my image.”
When asked about the secret of her enduring beauty, Cher said, “You know what? You never stop being a girl. If you never stop being a girl, you’ll never get old.”
She added that there shouldn’t be such a thing as not wearing certain clothes and not using certain beauty products after reaching certain age. In a 2017 interview, Cher revealed detailed concerning her skin care routine and revealed that some of her favorite beauty products are Dr. Barbara Sturm’s eye cream and face wash, as well as products from Jan Marini and the Proactiv line.
“My skincare routine is very eclectic. I don’t stick to one particular product, I just have things that I love from different people,” the singer and actress said. “I think a little bit less is more, because sometimes you can shoot for it and shoot past it. Now, she dedicates more energy to skin care.”
