Brighten your smile naturally: Tomato teeth whitening

If you wonder how to brighten your smile naturally, you are not alone. Having white teeth is something many people desire. They are willing to pay hundreds of dollars to have the smile of their dreams, but if I told you you can achieve the same effect without visiting the dentist’s office.

Tomatoes don’t only go to salads and plenty of other dishes. They also help with achieving that white smile you’ve longed for.

The reason this versatile plant helps with tooth whitening is that it’s rich in vitamin C, which helps boost the immune system.

This vitamin also offers a plethora of benefits for oral health. It helps strengthen the gums and removes tartar, a common cause of tooth discoloration. Its natural acidity can dissolve plaque, making the teeth brighter and cleaner.

How to use tomatoes to brighten your smile?

The use of tomatoes for reaching a white smile is as easy as it sounds.

First, choose a ripe and juicy tomato because they have the optimal amount of natural acids and vitamin C.

Next, cut the tomato into slices or crush it to get certain amount of juice.

Then rub the tomato slices or the juice directly on your teeth and let it sit for a while. After a couple of minutes brush your teeth following your ordinary routine.

Make sure you rinse your teeth thoroughly because leaving the juice on for long can affect the enamel.

Repeat this routine a few times a week for best results.

Of course, this method, or any other method you can do at home, cannot fully replace regular flossing, brushing, and dental check-ups.
