Beloved NFL superstar lost life in a tragic car accident

Khyree Jackson, Minnesota Vikings draft pick, died in a tragic car crash at the age of 24. As reported by the Daily Mail, the young star was killed along with former high school teammates Anthony Lytton Jr., 24, and Isaiah Hazel, 23.

As reported by the Maryland police, Jackson and Hazel were pronounced dead at the scene while Lytton was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.

Hours before losing his life, Jackson posted a 10-slide Instagram display of photos from his life.

The Vikings organization paid their tributes in a statement that read: “We are devastated by the news of Khyree Jackson’s death following an overnight car accident. Our thoughts are with Khyree’s family, friends, teammates and coaches, as well as all the victims of this tragic accident.”

Head coach Kevin O’Connell took to the social media to share his heartbreak over the loss of Jackson. “I am absolutely crushed by this news,” he wrote. “Khyree brought a contagious energy to our facility and our team. His confidence and engaging personality immediately drew his teammates to him.

“In our short time together, it was evident Khyree was going to develop into a tremendous professional football player, but what was more impressive was his desire to become the best person he could be for his family and those around him.

“I am at a loss for words. My heart goes out to Khyree’s family, friends, teammates and coaches,” he ended the post.

As per TMZ, Jackson began his college career at the University of Alabama before transferring to the University of Oregon for his final season. During his last year, he accumulated 34 tackles, two sacks, and three interceptions.

The fatal accident that claimed the lives of Jackson and his friends happened after a female driver, Cori Clingman, who was driving a silver Infinity, tried to change lanes at Route 4 at a swift speed, Daily Mail reports.

Her action led her vehicle to crash into the Dodge Charger operated by Jackson. At that moment, the Dodge collided with another vehicle and veered off the road, hitting multiple tree stops.

Clingman and the two passenger riding with her, as well as the person operating the Chevrolet Jackson hit, were unharmed.

We are so very sorry for the loss of the young lives. May they rest in peace.
