A tragic car crash involving three vehicles claimed the lives of Tommy Moorehead III, 41, and his two children, four-year-old son Tommy Jr., and six-year-old daughter Lynnlee.
The tragic incident took place Saturday after a 2007 Dodge 3500 that was driving westbound on FM-3133 tried to pass a 2017 Toyota Tacoma in a no-passing zone, crashing head-on into a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported.
The Chevy caught on fire, killing Tommy and his children at the scene.

The Texas Highway Patrol has made an arrest as the tragic car crash incident remains under investigation.
Rocky Patterson, 63, who was driving the Dodge, has been charged with three counts of manslaughter — a second-degree felony. He remains in the Grayson County Jail as of Monday on $3 million bond.
A GoFundMe has been set up for Tommy’s wife, Brooke Mustard Moorehead, who lost her entire family.
“In a single instant, Brooke lost everything. Tommy was a devoted husband and father, a kind soul who worked hard and loved his family with his whole heart,” the page said.
“Lynnlee was full of life, joy, and curiosity. Little Tommy Jr. was just beginning his journey in the world, always smiling and full of love.
“Brooke has been an anchor in our restaurant family for almost a decade – loyal, hardworking, compassionate, and strong. She has always cared for those around her with love, respect and grace.”
The fundraiser continued: “Now, she is facing the unimaginable. She needs all of us to help her through this most painful time.”

“We are raising funds to support Brooke with funeral arrangements and the many unexpected expenses that follow such a catastrophic loss.
“No one should have to go through this alone, and we hope to rally around her with the love and support she so deeply deserves.”
At the time of writing, $92,000 out of the $150,000 goal have been raised.
