Sharon Osbourne breaks down in tears listening to voicemail Donald Trump left her about Ozzy’s death

The death of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne sent shockwaves through the music world, leaving millions of fans mourning.

During the last couple of years of his life, Ozzy suffered several medical conditions and was forced to undergo several surgeries. Ever since his quad-bike accident in 2003, everything went downfall for him. Later, in 2019, he suffered yet another life-threatening fall when he fell in his bathroom and dislodged metal screws in his spine. 2020 was the year when the musician was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and that only added to the health issues he experienced.

Despite his health struggles, Ozzy remained as energetic as ever.

Months after his passing, his wife, Sharon Osbourne stayed out of the spotlight. And it was only recently that her son, Jack, provided an update on his mother during an appearance on Good Morning America.

“You know, when people have been asking me that question, I say, ‘She’s OK, but she’s not OK, ’” Jack said, adding that he knows his mother “feels the love” from fans.

“None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love,” he continued. “Every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won’t be there, and what will that be like. It’s just a part of being human. We just didn’t think of it. It was a different weight to it, you know?”

Sharon Osbourne received condolences from many famous and influential people, and recently, Jack shared a recording of a voicemail his mother received from President Donald Trump.

“Hi, Sharon. It’s Donald Trump. I just wanted to wish you the best and the family,” the recording said. “Ozzy was amazing. He was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented. So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do. Take care of yourself, say hello to the family. Thanks, bye.”

Sharon broke down when the message played. She’s had ties to Trump since appearing on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2010. She said on the podcast that she appreciated his condolences and put politics out of the way.

“Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner. Whoever you like, there’s, half of people are gonna go like this,” Sharon said. “And now it’s more so than ever in history is it that people’s choice of which party, which politician, you can’t come out a winner. All I know is a man that I know, I worked with for a month. I spent one month with him and his wife [Melania Trump], who was always gracious, elegant, just a delight to talk to, his wife.”

She added: “And he was always, ‘How are the children? How is Kelly? I’m so proud of Kelly and Jack for what they’ve done and their manners are great. And he was just a great guy to talk to and he has always treated me with respect.

“Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”
