Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and left Britain behind, relationships within the British royal family began to crumble. The couple claimed they were running away from the same media they later embraced and used in order to reveal secrets about the British royalty and some of the things that were taking place behind closed doors. This angered many, including late Queen Elizabeth II, then-Prince Charles, and Prince William.
If that didn’t add enough trouble, both King Charles and Kate Middleton were both diagnosed with cancer around the same time, taking time off from their royal duties in order to battle their diseases and heal.
Most recently, the royal family has faced yet another blow as Prince Andrew comes under renewed scrutiny over his alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein and the late Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most vocal accusers.

Giuffre, who died by suicide in April 2025 at the age of 41, had long accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was 17—claims he has repeatedly and forcefully denied.
In her posthumous memoir, “Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice,” Giuffre recounts her alleged 2001 encounter with King Charles’ younger brother, who she says had “long been known as the playboy of the royal family,” according to The Guardian.
“He was friendly enough, but still entitled – as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright,” she penned, claiming that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate, pressured her into “servicing the man the tabloids called ‘Randy Andy.”
Amid the allegations, Prince Andrew made a decision to “no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me,” adding once again that he denies the accusations.

He gave up the title Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, Baron Killyleagh, as well as his honors as Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order and Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter.
While the dukedom cannot be removed without an Act of Parliament, he has pledged not to use it.
The rest of the family’s reported anger over the situation shows just how tense things have become, with William allegedly urging Andrew and Sarah Ferguson – also tied to the Epstein scandal – to leave the Royal Lodge, as reported by RadarOnline.
According to the publication, William is going as far as to threaten the royal titles held by Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, if the disgraced pair refuse to vacate.
I posted this picture yesterday and have been haunted by it since. Princess Catherine twisting her head all the way around, Prince William looking on intently.
Andrew looking angry, haughty, arrogant and defiant.

“There was a question over whether there had been, earlier in the day, a meeting between Prince William and the princesses, Beatrice and Eugenie, saying you guys have to get your dad to move out of Royal Lodge otherwise we will start re-examining the state of your own titles,” former BBC journalist Emily Maitlis claimed on her podcast, The News Agents.
“They are at the moment allowed to be princesses, but there was a bit of pressure, we understand, being put on the princesses to say this is going to happen,” Maitlis continued on her podcast.
“Obviously, you can see why Andrew, as a father, would want to keep their daughters happy and keep their titles in place come what may.”
In 2003, Andrew reportedly paid about $1.3 million for a 75-year lease on the Royal Lodge and spent millions on renovations.
Allegedly, the 65-year-old has agreed to leave only if he and Ferguson, 66, are each provided new homes.
“Andy is willing to leave, but these are his demands,” a friend of the couple said, as per RadarOnline. “He is realistic and knows the writing is on the wall and that his time at Royal Lodge is up.”
