Despite the fact that his cancer battle is an ongoing one, witnessing King Charles perform his royal duties speaks volumes of his improved health, or at least the public hopes this to be true.
For the head of the British monarchy to speak openly of their health issues isn’t something the public is used to. That is one of the reasons why Charles’ openness about his cancer stunned many.
However, no further details have been revealed, such as the type or stage of the cancer. What’s more, it doesn’t seem like the Palace will share any additional information in the near future.

What we know is that most cancer treatments take a lot of time.
“It’s very common for treatment to be ongoing for very long periods of time, as is the treatment that the Princess of Wales went through, which is an intense period of treatment over a year, and then it comes to a point where it’s on an end, and she’s on that recovery from some of the impacts of her treatment,” Lee told Sky News.
“So we’ve got immunotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery, hormone therapy. There are all sorts of different treatment modalities. And so it’s not surprising at all.”

A few months ago, ahead of an event celebrating the work of community-based cancer care projects in the UK, King Charles said, “Each diagnosis, each new case, will be a daunting and at times frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones. But as one among those statistics myself, I can vouch for the fact that it can also be an experience that brings into sharp focus the very best of humanity.”
He continued: “It has certainly given me an even deeper appreciation of the extraordinary work undertaken by the remarkable organisations and individuals gathered here this evening, many of whom I have known, visited and supported over the years. And it has reinforced what I have long observed during these visits – that the darkest moments of illness can be illuminated by the greatest compassion.”
There have been reports that Charles’ cancer is incurable. According to royal expert Camilla Tonminey, “the talk now is that he may die ‘with’ cancer, but not ‘of’ cancer following a rigorous treatment program.”

During a recent meeting between King Charles and French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, at Windsor Castle, Charles’s right eye appeared visibly bloodshot, sparking concerns at the public.
“This is horrifying,” one person wrote of Charles, while another said, “It looks awful,” according to Sky News.
A third person wrote, “I have had this happen to me a few times. It didn’t hurt, but it was shocking to wake up to.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, Charles’ bloody eye could be a result of broken blood vessels, also known as “subconjunctival hemorrhage,” a condition that is usually harmless.
People close to Charles claim he’s dealing incredibly well with cancer.
“The thing you learn about this illness is that you just manage it and that’s what he does. Medical science has made incredible advances and I genuinely see no difference in him. As long as you just do what the doctors say, just live your life as normal as possible… that’s exactly what he is doing,” a source shared with the Telegraph.
