Kamala Harris shares a candid message for Trump supporters as she breaks her silence after months

Kamala Harris has broken her months-long silence, and according to many, she said exactly what most of us are thinking.

Harris, who lost the presidential elections to Donald Trump, spoke of the feeling of fear sweeping across the United States under the current president’s renewed leadership.

In a speech at Leading Women Defined Summit in California on April 3, Harris indirectly touched the subject of the tariffs Trump imposed on nations worldwide as well as his many actions and the signings of executive orders, most of which contradict with the law. In fact, her words referred to the situation that he created with his actions.

“When one person, when a few stand with the courage, that is the courage exhibited by the leaders in this room every day.

“To have the courage to say I feel fear, the courage to say what is happening is wrong, the courage to say that there is a way that we must chart to get through this.

“Understanding our power in the democracy that we still have if we hold on to it.

“Courage is contagious.”

She went on to say, “These are the things we’re witnessing day after day in recent months. And yes — it creates fear. Because many of the things we’re seeing… we knew were coming. I’m not here to say, ‘I told you so.’”

Kamala Harris added that people, as well as organizations, are staying quiet, and that “we are seeing capitulating to clearly unconstitutional threats.”

Representative Jamie Raskin backed up Harris’ opinion during an interview with Jen Psaki on MSNBC. Just like the former vice-president, Raskin believes the Democrats have been wrongly accused of not being vocal enough.

“People kept asking, ‘Where’s the Democratic leadership?’” Raskin said. “But the reality is, it takes time to absorb the full impact of what’s happening. We’re dealing with an all-out attempt at authoritarian control, the purging of federal workers — attacks on every front.”

He added that the Democrats are standing their ground. “Now, everyone is in a fighting mood.”

Following her loss of the elections, Harris has kept a low profile, but she’s now again stepping into the spotlight.

According to The Grio, she’s considering running for California governor in 2026.
