Kamala Harris’ prediction about Trump’s tariffs comes to light in newly surfaced footage

The impact of Trump’s decision to impose enormous tariffs on nearly every country in the world has yet to be felt on the U.S. economy, experts claim.

The president on the other hand dubbed the decision as a “declaration of economic independence.”

He even asked his people to trust his judgement because his politics will ultimately benefit them and will lead to the American industry being reborn.

Critics and experts say the changes to the U.S. trade policy only pushes the country into a trade war with other countries, particularly China.

Kamala Harris, who lost the presidential elections to Trump, made predictions about Trump’s moves regarding the tariffs, claiming his politics would easily lead to a recession by mid-2025.

Now that her predictions seem to be turning into reality, footages of her speeches have resurfaced on the social media.

During the presidential debate in September 2024, Harris laid the bare truth for millions of Americans. “16 Nobel laureates have described his economic plan as something that would increase inflation and by the middle of next year would invite a recession,” she said during the debate. “You just have to look.”

This wasn’t the sole occasion when the Democrat warned of what might happen if Trump wins the elections.

During her appearance on The Howard Stern Show back in November, Harris said, “My plans will strengthen our economy. Donald Trump’s plans would weaken our economy, would inflate inflation, and would bring a recession on by the middle of next year.”

Harris also spoke of Trump’s plan to eliminate the Department of Education, which he did, leading to over 1,300 people to lose their jobs.

Further, Harris claimed that if Trump wins the elections, he would cut Social Security and Medicare, giving tax breaks to big corporations and people with already really high incomes.

According to NBC, “House Republicans can’t meet their own budget target that is necessary to pass President Donald Trump’s legislative agenda without making significant cuts to Medicare or Medicaid.”

Now, the predictions and warning of Kamala Harris resonate with many.

“She warned us all so many times. It’s a shame 27% of the population chose not to listen,” one person commented.

Another person noted: “Yea, but the recession came in just 4 months, not 6. Checkmate libs.”
