Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the White House and the meeting between him and US President Donald Trump didn’t seem to end well, replicating their previous White House discussion that also ended on a tense note.
As reported by the Financial Times, tense confrontation erupted between the two leaders when the Zelenskyy’s bid for Tomahawk missiles fell through.
Trump admitted he was reluctant to use the US missile stockpile, even though just a few days earlier he had said he seriously considered sending the missile to support Ukraine in striking back against Russia.

“I have an obligation also to make sure that we’re completely stocked up as a country, because you never know what’s going to happen in war and peace,” Trump said publicly. “We’d much rather have them not need Tomahawks. We’d much rather have the war be over to be honest.”
Further, the report claimed that Trump urged Zelenskyy to agree to terms proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, which would effectively force Ukraine to surrender and withdraw completely from the territories it still controls in the Donbas region. The report stated Trump warned Zelenskyy that failing to accept the deal could lead to “destruction,” saying, “If he (Putin) wants, he will destroy you.”
Allegedly, Trump was “cursing all the time,” during the meeting, which ended up resembling a “shouting match.”
Moreover, Trump reportedly ‘threw a map’ of the front of the table, stating that he was “sick” of it.
“This red line, I don’t even know where this is. I’ve never been there,” Trump reportedly said.
Following the meeting, Trump took to the social media where he wrote, “Enough blood has been shed, with property lines being defined by War and Guts. They should stop where they are. Let both claim Victory, let History decide!”
