DOGE questions Clinton’s handling of USAID funds

The newly created agency DOGE – Department of Government Efficiency – lead by tech billionaire Elon Musk, which aims to reform spending and improve efficiency, is now analyzing USAID spending records in order to identify wasteful expenditures.

Trump supporters and proponents of the initiative believe it was about time the government put a stop to the inefficient spendings that have burdened federal agencies.

The transparency of the work of the federal agencies that is expected to be achieved by employing advanced data analytics and innovative monitoring tools by DOGE will uncover possible misappropriated funds.

As expected, there are also those that are against the DOGE’s initiative, claiming the employees of the agency are not experienced enough to handle sensitive information.

Among them is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. In a series of posts on the social media, Clinton claimed that many of the team members “aren’t even old enough to rent a car.”

Her posts were direct and pointed at those working on the USAID spending review. She questioned their expertise to manage critical projects such as as upgrading aviation systems, referring to the recent airplane crashes.

Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary, fired back, stating that the current issues are a result of the past politics and decades of bureaucratic inefficiency.

Further, he added DOGE discovered evidence of “extreme grifting” by the Clintons through USAID.

According to the Independent, “The Supreme Court has temporarily blocked a judge’s order that requires Donald Trump’s administration to unfreeze roughly $2 billion in foreign aid payments.”

A day prior, a federal judge in Washington, D.C. ordered the administration to restore funding for USAID contracts as Trump failed to fulfill the contracts while Elon Musk pushed for the entire aid agency to disolve.

Speaking of USAID, Musk wowed to put it through a “wood chipper” and smeared it as a “criminal organization” that should “die.”

Recently, rumors were that Hillary Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, who is the vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, received $84 million from the USAID. The news was all over the social media, with Newsweek stating that the news was false.

Hillary Clinton took to the social media to make it clear her family and the foundation they run “doesn’t depend on federal money,” and that they “don’t earn anything from this work.”
