Disturbing emergency audio reveals final moments as Hulk Hogan suffers cardiac arrest

Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan died Tuesday, aged 71, following sudden cardiac arrest.

The emergency 911 call made during the final moments of his life revealed medics being dispatched to Hogan’s Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday morning, with the operator stating it was regarding “cardiac arrest,” TMZ reported.

Paramedics spent 30 minutes performing CPR on Hogan before transporting him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to TMZ, the wrestling legend was stretchered out and loaded into an ambulance after a “slew of police cars and EMTs were parked outside Hogan’s home.”

Hogan’s passing was confirmed by his attorney, Linda Bose.

“Unfortunately we must confirm that Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan passed away this morning,” she said.

“We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend.”

The official cause of death hasn’t been revealed yet, but no foul play is suspected, the police said in a press conference.

Rumors are that Hulk Hogan experienced health issues before his passing, especially during the last couple of weeks of his life. A source close to the late star revealed to the Daily Mail that he experienced shortness of breath, was on oxygen, and lost a lot of weight. It was also reported that Hogan had undergone a neck surgery earlier this year.

His wife, Sky, said he had been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF), which she described as “an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process,” but denied rumors that he was on his deathbed in a coma after the routine neck surgery.

In the past, Hogan discussed about having “25 surgeries in the last ten years.”

Speaking on Jake Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast last year, he said, “Ten of them were back surgeries. I’ve had both knees and hips replaced, shoulders—everything.”

The WWE posted a tribute following the news of his death. “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away,” they wrote on X, adding they remember Hogan’s major influence in the 1980s and crediting him with helping WWE reach global fame.
